The 'Dakcamping' ('Rooftop Campsite') was first organised for the Parking Den Haag Living Art Festival in collaboration with Ton Schuttelaar. Twelve (groups of) people camped out on twelve roof tops around town. The interaction between the campers and their hosts seemed to be important in the event. For the subsequent 'Hosts&Guests' project - developed for the Bow Festival organised by Space Studios Public Arts- the aim was to provide a local service, using 'leftover' spaces or private spaces close to home. Participants kept a little log of their adventures.
